This Cookie Policy explains how Sammurai uses cookies and similar technologies and how users can manage their preferences.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Policy applies to Sammurai websites, apps, dashboards, and related services that use cookies, local storage, SDK identifiers, pixels, or similar technologies.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a user visits a website or uses certain online services. They can help keep a service secure and operational, remember preferences, support sign-in, and measure usage where allowed.

3. How Sammurai Uses Cookies

Sammurai may use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, load balancing, fraud or abuse protection, and core service operation. These cookies may be used without a separate opt-in where applicable law allows, because the service cannot function properly without them.

It will last for the duration of the user’s session or for a short-lived persistent period, depending on the product configuration.

Sammurai may use a security or CSRF token as a strictly necessary cookie or similar technology. This is used to protect against request forgery, abuse, and other security risks. It is provided by Sammurai and usually lasts for the duration of the session.

Sammurai may use preference storage as a functional cookie or similar technology. This is used to remember user interface choices, legal preference selections, or other preference settings. It is provided by Sammurai and retained for the period configured in the product.

Where analytics are enabled and the required consent has been obtained, Sammurai may use an analytics identifier. This falls under the analytics category and is used to measure aggregate usage, reliability, and product performance. It may be provided by an approved analytics provider and retained for the period configured and consented to.
